Salvation Army���s Bed & Bread Gala Area residents gathered to support the Salvation Army of Southern Indiana���s mission to do the most good as they ��lled the IUS Hoosier Room for the second annual Bed & Bread Gala Feb. 8. Surprise presentations were made to Dale Orem, left, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and John Belski, who received the Service to Mankind Award. Community gathers to support Jacob���s Well The second annual fund-raising dinner and silent auction to bene��t Jacob���s Well drew 360 guests to Kye���s recently. The event raised money for the non-pro��t that is housed in the old Utica Elementary School in Clark County. A wide array of silent auction items attracted interest among guests (pictured) at the fund-raising dinner for Jacob���s Well, which provides temporary housing and education for single mothers and their children. The site gives them a place where hope and opportunity ��ourish and new lives begin to grow, according to founders Barbara and Kevin Williar.
