Wrege Indiana History Room, New Albany-Floyd County Public Library. SEPT / OCT 2018 VOL. 11, ISSUE 5 This snapshot shows the exterior of the New Albany's Carnegie Library in the fall of 1954. This building, located at 201 East Spring Street, was built in 1904 with funds donated from Andrew Carnegie. The library moved to its current location in 1969.
