LLC. from the EDITOR Southern Indiana Living Magazine is a BBB accredited business Spring is my favorite time of year. It's not too hot yet, the farmer's market opens (above, I love fresh greens), my daughter and husband and I love heading to the park (a year ago, at left), and I enjoy getting my garden planted (including fresh thyme, below)! I t goes without say- ing that this winter has been a long one. We wanted this issue to be a breath of fresh air for everyone — ourselves included! In this issue you will fnd endless spring break trip ideas, and the best part is they are local and for the most part won't break the budget. If your kids have been moaning and groan- ing through a stir crazy winter, we have some great chances for you all to — young and old — to enjoy yourselves and feel the sunshine again. For the fne folks at Nance Florist in New Albany, the whole winter was perhaps made easier by their slew of fresh fowers. Check out their multi-generation family business story. At Marengo Warehouse, weather is no issue. See for yourself as we explore the cavernous underground storage. It is almost unreal! Happy Spring, everyone! Get out there and enjoy it. Enjoy!
